CESSI - Computer & Electronic Safety Solutions, Inc. is a full service "Applied" ergonomics company dedicated to helping our customers SOLVE workplace problems. CESSI was incorporated January 14, 1991, in the State of Georgia with the sole purpose of delivering "Applied Ergonomics" to customers seeking to resolve Human Factor problems in automated work environments.
Initially, the company provided Ergonomic Consulting Services to help our customers identify those biomechanics issues that were contributing to employee aches, pains, discomforts and injuries associated with repetitive task work. Since 1991 we have grown into one of the leading "Applied Ergonomics" companies in North America as CESSI has been transformed by responding to our customer's needs.
Early in our history, customers would frequently ask our professionally trained consultants for sources to use for acquiring "ergonomic" product solutions which were proposed in our biomechanics assessment reports. Our customers had found the market for "ergonomic" products was cluttered and confusing with thousands of product companies claiming to have the ultimate product to solve their ergonomic problems. CESSI committed at that time to find qualified suppliers with products that could be demonstrated to resolve problems and sustain improvements. This task was larger than we originally imagined. This commitment led us into a worldwide search for reliable manufacturers of ergonomic designed, tested and documented products.
Our search criteria for supply partners was relatively basic (though very difficult for most manufacturers to meet, then and now!) and included the following primary elements:

This commitment lead CESSI to add a Commercial Products & Services Group to the business and now specifies, markets and sells & services performance ergonomic products from world class manufacturers.
Our company philosophy has always been based on helping our customers solve Human Factor problems in the workplace. Armed with a wealth of knowledge of ergonomic principles and best practices gained from our diverse customers, and supported by a large portfolio of performance based ergonomic products, we were still less then successful at obtaining desired results and sustaining ergonomic improvements.
Once again our customers came to our rescue. They encouraged us find and develop the missing link of a successful, sustainable ergonomics process: CESSI's Education and Training Group was then created to ensure that our customers could effectively invest in ergonomic interventions and have the confidence that together we would achieve the financial and health benefits they demanded.
Over these years, CESSI has become know as cessi:ergonomics as it was transformed into a full service "Applied Ergonomics" company that creates and sustains results for our customers. We consistently provide enlightened Ergonomic Consulting Services, a comprehensive Commercial Products & Services business, and an Education and Training programs that are relevant to the work being performed and the capacity of the worker to learn and modify personal work habits.
